Fort Jones Volunteer Fire Department hires two seasonal firefighters each Spring to insure adequate staffing during the summer months.
Requirements:
- Highschool Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's license
- HazMat FRO
- CPR/First Responder (minimum)
- ICS 100 & 200
- NIMS 700A & 800
- S130 & 190
- Minimum 6 months full time or 1 year volunteer firefighting experience or equivalent.
- Be legally eligible to work in the US
- Class A, B or C with Firefighter Endorsement within one month of hire.
- Ability to pass arduous work capacity test.
Highly Desirable:
- EMT/Paramedic
- CSFM FF1
- NWCG Engine Boss
- Other Fire related certifications and experience.
