OFFICERS AND BIOS
CAPTAIN: Brad Leiferman Brad Leiferman first began his firefighting career in Shasta County in February of 2018. After completing his Firefighter 1 Academy at Shasta College in 2019, he moved to Fort Jones and began his role as a Sleeper for the Fort Jones Fire Department. Brad rose through the ranks fulfilling the duties of Firefighter and Lieutenant before being promoted to Fire Captain in November 2021. Among other certifications Brad is a CSFM certified Firefighter 1 and 2, CSFM Instructor 1, EMT, and Engine Boss. CAPTAIN: Breanna Buker
Breanna Buker grew up in Scott Valley and joined Fort Jones Fire Department in 2014 as an explorer. Breanna rose through the ranks fulfilling the duties of Firefighter and Lieutenant before being promoted to Captain in December of 2021. LIEUTENANT: Samantha Hess Samantha Hess joined Fort Jones Fire Department as a firefighter in 2017 after having completed her EMT in Salem OR. She is a state Firefighter 1 and Engine Boss as well as a Paramedic. She is also a AHA CPR instructor and is in charge of EMS compliance and training at Fort Jones Fire Department. |
